Burcu Burkut Erenkul was born on February 6, 1989 in Istanbul. She is a graduate of the Radio-Television and Cinema Department at Istanbul Aydın University. She has hosted television programs with automobile content. His father's interest in automobile sports introduced her to Karting at the age of 7, and she began a professional career in sports. Doing karting until the age of 15, Burcu earned the title of the youngest driver to race on the tracks after completing her first race with a car at 16. In 2007, she was introduced to the Rally as the co-pilot of her father. In 2008, she started her Rally adventure with her first Rally start. In the same year, she made her debut in the offshore championship. She ranked second in Istanbul women category in 2008. As the champion of Istanbul women category in 2010, she managed to become the youngest female rally champion in Turkey and still holds this title. In 2010, she proved to be a fast pilot in the N3 class, where she competed against men. In 2012, she then managed to become a national champion in the Class 8 category, where she competed as the only female pilot against male competitors. Burcu Burkut Erenkul is the first automobile athlete to speak at TEDx. She played Samiye Morkaya, the first female automobile sports athlete in Turkey, in the documentary called "Women Who Made Their Name in History" made for TRT Documentary. Burcu Burkut Erenkul continues to compete in the rally industry.
