Tansu Daylan is a postdoctoral researcher in astrophysics and statistics at the MIT Kavli Institute. After graduating from Robert College in 2008, she did a double major in electrical and electronics engineering and physics at METU. Later, he received her PhD in physics from Harvard University in 2018. He works on various statistical methods (signal processing, artificial neural networks, variable-dimensional Bayesian extraction, etc.) to be used in problems such as cataloging, dark matter and exoplanets in astrophysics.
