He graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Language, History and Geography, Department of Theatre. He is also one of the founders of Moda Sahnesi and DasDas, one of the theatre stages in Istanbul, and Sanat Mahal in Bursa. Fırat, who is involved in many social responsibility projects and is a UNDP Goodwill Ambassador, has implemented a platform that allows online cooperation called "Needs Map".
